It's starting to feel like Christmas

My first ever blog, excited and nervous at the same time. So, it's christmas season, catering bookings are starting to fill up my calendar and more importantly, it's my sons' (enzo) first christmas... I've started to put up christmas decor around the house but our tree isn't finished yet. I have yet to make our christmas gift list (this will be quite short this year since we're in a sexy budget).

It's quite exciting that my catering schedule is starting to fill up again for the season...

But because it's also Enzo's 1st birthday on january.. i will be quite busy prepping for his birthday with the less fortunate kids.. This idea was by my thoughtful husband, he said that since Enzo won't be able to really enjoy nor remember his birthday, we might as well share his 'blessings' with the kids at the charity... so, i have yet to find a kids charity and organize a gift giving there.. maybe a mascot or a magician too! :)

So for this month and december, i will be juggling the role of being mom and chef for our events. No complains, no excuses. I keep telling myself, 'i've got this'. Plus my goal of growing our catering business next year keeps me driven.

Being a chef instructor at Gourmet Bites also is a boost! We'll be having a cooking class for the househelp, which is a first here in davao.

Like any other mom and wife plus entrepreneur, i must admit that multi-tasking is hard. Very hard. But by God's grace, a supportive husband and an adorable son who keeps me sane.. I've got this. :)

We will survive this season with finesse and kembot!
